Coverage at a glance
- 10 years structural — galvanised steel chassis, primary frame, weather envelope.
- 5 years — cladding (WPC composite, steel), glazing units, insulation envelope.
- 2 years — electrical wiring and accessories, plumbing fittings, interior finishes.
- Warranty is transferable to a new owner on resale of the unit.
- Honoured directly by MODDOLIVING or an authorised regional dealer in the US, UK and EU.
What the warranty covers
Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship that affect the performance, durability or weather-tightness of the unit, when installed and used in line with the handover documentation.
What the warranty does not cover
- Damage caused by impact, vandalism, third-party modification or installation outside our specification.
- Wear and tear consistent with the unit's intended use and service life.
- Cosmetic changes caused by exposure to harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning or extreme UV beyond regional norms.
- Failure of fixtures or finishes specified by the client and sourced outside our standard catalogue, where covered by the supplier's own warranty.
- Damage during transport or installation by a third party not appointed by MODDOLIVING.
Claims process
- Email info@moddoliving.com with the unit reference number, photos of the issue and a short description.
- Our aftercare team responds within one working day with diagnostic questions or a site-visit booking.
- If the claim is covered, we arrange remediation through our regional installation partner. Materials, labour and travel are included for in-warranty claims.
- Out-of-warranty issues receive a quote for paid repair, with the option of an annual service contract for ongoing maintenance.
Service contract option
Annual service contracts cover seasonal inspection, weather-seal renewal, electrical PAT testing and minor finish refresh. Service contracts can be purchased with the original order or added at any point during the unit's service life.
Statutory rights
This warranty is offered in addition to, and does not affect, any statutory rights you hold under UK, EU or US consumer law as applicable to the contract under which you purchased the unit.
