Frequently Asked

Specifications & Site Questions.

The practical questions site managers, homeowners and project leads ask most often before they specify and quote.

  • What facilities are inside an MODDOLIVING welfare cabin?

Standard welfare units combine a kitchenette (worktop, sink, kettle point, storage), a seating and rest area sized for the expected crew, an integrated WC and basin, and lockable storage. Optional drying rooms, locker walls and briefing tables can be specified at quote.

  • How many people does the welfare cabin support per shift?

Standard welfare provision supports six to ten staff per shift in the rest and seating zone, with capacity to take meals in two turnaround sittings. Multi-cabin setups extend provision linearly — we issue site-specific capacity guidance at quote based on expected headcount.

  • What is the difference between Static and Mobile?

Static welfare cabins are factory-built units craned onto a prepared base — used where the welfare position is fixed for the project duration. Mobile welfare cabins ride on a towable chassis — used where the welfare unit needs to follow the work face or move between adjacent sites without crane access.

  • Are the welfare cabins insulated and heated?

Yes. Every welfare cabin ships with continuous wall and roof insulation and weather-tight panel joins. Electric heating is fitted as standard for cold-climate use; air conditioning, ventilation and three-phase or generator-feed configurations are available on request.

  • How are MODDOLIVING welfare cabins priced and quoted?

MODDOLIVING operates a B2B quote-only model — pricing is confirmed individually based on configuration, capacity, service connections and delivery region. Share your project brief and we respond with a tailored configuration, indicative timeline and itemised quote — typically within one working day.
